So turn 4 and 5 now?
I can't tank it when I join t4 pugs I get kicked out for DL+relic, I want to gear my tank in Allagan and my dps in Myth, I'm trying to gear both of them at the same time but it's not working out as planned, so I guess I will have to make my own group as a drg for coil turn4-5
This is a game. It is meant to be an enjoyable experience. While I can understand frustration in losing in a game, it doesn't mean I take my frustration out on others by belittling them and claiming to be superior to them. If you perhaps talk to them in a manner that is respectful and understanding you may get better results, they might take longer to learn things or simply new to the MMORPG genre in general.
I honestly hope you can be more respectful and if you cannot then I don't think the community would miss you if you decided to leave.
CT is a beautiful dungeon, but on DF is a total fail, period.
The nowadays actual community will never makes it work properly for months (or ever?).
There will always be a jerk, and afker, douches, kick abusers, noone listening others. Nor giving a crap to listen and learn. Much less a 90 elitist brat
Oh wait, how to forget the JP community (if you tought it was better, let's be fair): don't join JP on DF.
Be perfect , don't fail anything you're not allowed to die, stay low, if the raid will complete CT and you're still there, call yourself lucky.
By the time someone discover you're a gaijin infiltrated (the E underline on your account usually helps , pathetic when JP players have that E maybe just because they bough a boxed CE found imported from europe , or just playing outside japan and bough the game outside creating a "gaijin account", they are japanese but tagged as gaijin, i'm a good example lol :D ), they will kick-abuse you asap or at 7th boss/ before last chest.
Keep your head low and pray noone check who you are.
So far ye, this community is pure junk worldwide lol :D
On JP side, JP players are willing to listen, they read the explanation and apply it, the exact opposite of what clearly the OP experienced with E community.
I'm sorry to tell it, but Yoshi should truly shutdown canadian servers, make this game JAPAN only, with ip control to allow japanese players-only, things will work better.
Devs are clearly creating content for japanese attitude (respect, be friendly, help others, listen and learn, lower your head by the time you illude yourself to be an elite player...etc...) and totally racist against gaijins
Something like 24 random players worldwide will never work out properly with a sane minded funny run. Once, maybe, if lucky.
Oh my, the grave just gets deeper after each post.
Rule of thumb:
Nobody in a 4 man pug cares about your personal issues. Shut up, do your job, don't get killed just like everyone else.
Nobody in an 8 man pug cares about your personal issues. Shut up, do your job, don't get killed just like everyone else.
Nobody in a 24 man pug cares about your personal issues. Shut up, do your job, don't get killed just like everyone else.
Nobody on the forums cares about your personal issues. Those that do just want to make them worse.
I'll take an iLvl 55 that shuts up, does their job, and avoids getting killed over a mouthy iL90 that thinks they deserve a drop in an endgame dungeon the first day its out.
It's a new dungeon, don't expect most of the server to know how to make up for other inexperienced players when they're inexperienced themselves. It hasn't even been 24 hours. Log off for a while or spend a day staring at the beach in Costa del Sol if you need to blow off steam over unsuccessful dungeon parties.
Like I said in my first post, I am completely fine with inexperienced players. I actually enjoy taking people through there first time through content, it's great to see their reactions+joy when we down a boss for their first time or they get a cool piece of lewt. I just dislike when people don't listen and don't cooperate<-- that right there is what sends me into rage
I haven't heard particularly good things from my friends who went into the TESO beta. Actually, quite the opposite.
There will always be trolls. The larger the group of random people, the more likely you get trolls. You really shouldn't be allowed to queue for CT without a full group to participate in advance, at least that will allow players on particular servers to filter out their own trolls if they actually want to beat the dungoen.
Sadly, it's just another mark on a very long list of things that have been badly mismanaged by the dev team since long before beta, just like everything else.
I've had -almost- the exact opposite experience. ( The i90 brats are what we have in common, but it's impossible to escape them.) In my (admittedly, very few) CT runs everyone has tried their best and the designated leaders of each group kept a line of communication, resulting in a boost of group moral and success; although we weren't able to kill Behemoth in designated amount of time. People are still learning, so that's to be expected.
Try not to let a few bad apples spoil the bunch.
What she said, make your own group. What you said sounds like a cop out. Did you catch the rant of the guy saying his nearly all i90 team couldn't kill siren? Gear doesn't make someone good. And back on the point of "alts". . . you were doing CT to gear alts, I said that's useless, you didn't counter that point.
Are you sure you're getting kicked out of coil pugs because of gear, not attitude?
Eh... I'm on Behemoth too, I PUG a lot and never got kicked while in DL and regular relic. I got my first T4 kill in a group where most had that kind of gear.
But, I don't join any groups asking for the typical tags "gear/exp/vent". Now with average item level, I'll not join any that asks for that either. Funny how that works, on the few that I joined that had such requirements, it didn't succeed. Try one without any requirement... success.
Only problem i find with CT atm is when you queue just as English language you still get mixed in with people who cannot speak or understand a wisp of it, makes for explaining or trying to cooperate very hard.....
My issues with Crystal Tower and Duty Finder:
- People leaving the raid as soon as they get their drop (2 healers dropped in one alliance as we got to the bombo + vassagos, couldn't clear it anymore)
- That ONE DPS that cannot wait even though people asked to wait and decides he can pull all the mobs, leaving half the party without being able to enter the arena
- Those tanks that decide they're gonna main tank everything and constantly fight with other tanks to grab the hate on the boss, while some are supposed to grab adds
- Duty finder. If we could enter with a whole preformed Alliance, this raid would be excellent and goddamn enjoyable, but there you know that on 24 people, there will always be that one douchebag who can ruin the run for everyone.
The thing that disappoints me the most is that the raid could be incredibly great, but SE managed with that one duty finder thing to ruin the fun...
FYI it's VERY possible to queue for CT as a 24-man premade. Use a bit of creativity. ;)
SE should make 2 changes:
-CT loot from the prior bosses will drop after the last boss is down.
-Vote kicks can not be initiated/executed while loot distribution is still going.
I finished it trough Duty Finder on 4th try. To be honest.. my hope in humanity was restored. Ive never seen so much cooperation and positive mood in mmo before.
Crystal Tower was awesome!
ITT: OP get mad that people don't know the raid a day after it's released... ( > . > ;
Did Crystal Tower for the first time last night. We wiped once on Behemoth, but that was it. There were good, simple instructions given when needed, and kudos to everyone for being able to put those plans into action. I like that there aren't any trash mobs really. It's all mini boss and boss fights. And the 24-man alliance is really together the whole time. I had been wondering about the groups maybe having to split up and take separate paths to complete separate objectives, but that isn't the case. It could be fun/interesting to have that for future floors (team A completes objective to open the way for team B to complete an objective to open the way for team C, etc.)
How many times have I said, "If you need help with ANYTHING just pop in the chat and ask"? At least every other day. The 50s in our FC run HM Primals and lvl 50 instances all the time. We ask every time if anyone would like to come along. You NEVER say anything. And then you complain about your bad groups and rage over DF. We can't read your mind, you have got to pipe up and say something! So, please. Do not go around posting how our FC does nothing. Because it is the biggest lie and rather rude to all of our members that have tried to he helpful. Thank you. Your FC Leader.
Go ahead and unsub. It'll be one less whiny person on this game.
Hey leader, we heard this song already. It's fun when a guildy pop "guys i need a titan hm run, i need to be carried i have heavy lag, and i don't have surely money to pay a run" and noone answer
Or "I need a relic complete chain titan included, who joins". Once done with that guy, do the same with other 40 players asking the same.
Ah ye, now you answer "we all will group up for them, we are nolifers at their service, we play for others , we are the nicest sweet FC on this game" , right
Don't quote your guildy on an open forum pretending to show us how perfect and helpful is your FC, we all know how things works, stick on thread's topic if you want to post
CT is fun itself, however SE really needs to allow you to join as a premade alliance, instead of two random ally parties. The amount of abusive douchebags you get in with is ridiculous and votekick isn't saving you from all of them. >_> Abusive players or not, CT is still worth doing. And that music is awesome!
