Does anyone remember what happened in WoW when they introduced battlegrounds?

The WoW forums blew up with people saying they were gonna quit and the game was doomed because Blizzard was "ruining world PvP".

This is why we use terms like "vocal minority" and why most threads featuring people whining without stating any criteria for their whines are immediately discounted.
