when i saw Kilta go from the most medals, to 0 medals, i laughed, and i now think all is right in the world with this medal system.

That would certainly explain how I saw one person with 900+ posts and only 1 gold, 3 silver, while another person with only 700+ posts had 2 gold, 3 silver. Forum feature updates are among the dev tracker posts that I pass over. I personally don't see the problem with it. Not that I hadn't figured it out before, but now I can easily see for the most part who has something good to say.

My medals fluctuate often correlating, but not always, with what profile comes up in my sig. If my egg one comes up where my lancer isn't on it, it's 1 gold star. If it comes up non-egg and my lancer IS on it, 2 gold stars. Dunno.

I still can't fix this freaking profile...there the egg one is again.

This system is much better than it was before. Its not something you should pay too much attention to, but its a great to be able to determine who you can take up a serious discussion with based on how many medals they have. Its not the best way to determine something like that, bu it still helps.

Eh it's still better than post counting. We don't even see the "if you like X like this, if Y like this" much.

I'll agree that it is better than before since our little post spammers got their medals stripped. I've just never been keen on some kind of popular tally system. Kinda started with Gamefaqs, after they merged and introduced the karma system. For a while, posts suddenly became "Who has the most karma!?" or "Check his karma." kinda things.

Eh, whatcha gonna do? At least I don't go spamming the board in bad ways. :rolleyes:
