While I don't care about what the OP does with his gil, I do care about this setting a precedent and not helping with the gil sellers issue. So I really hope that there's no FC cheap enough to sell Coil runs (it doesn't matter if he just wants it for vanity). If someone does, I'll lose my faith in humanity... what's left, at least.
Anyway, to the OP: you can always wait until they reduce the difficulty of that content and get the gear by yourself. That way you will save your gil, you might be able to know something else about the story (if you care at all, that's it) and, who knows, maybe you have fun. These armor pieces aren't going to disappear tomorrow, I promise. Also, maybe meanwhile they put a gear set that you like even more than the allagan.
it really doesn't matter since I doubt any FC is going to take him up on this. With 9 possible drops from each chest once per week it's going to take a good while longer before it gets to the stage that nobody wants a particular item.
Unless it's drg belts, those things can go to hell.
Pay your way through, whatever its your gil.
Then I see this thread created by you Sept. 29th.
PEOPLE SELLING amdapor clears how lazy can you all be
I think some FC's would take him up on the offer if he offered 2 million gil per RUN and not per PIECE. Getting his piece could take 30+ runs (unlike HM Titan, which you only need to clear once to get relic), and 2 million is kinda laughable at that point.
Again, I don't agree he should do it in the first place... just wanted to make a point.
maybe he had change tune with those tried to do it
You got it the other way around, I have family + school + a job. What I don't have is 4+ hours to wipe on ADS. This is why it is absolutely necessary to be skilled and efficient so I won't waste my precious few hours on one single turn for more than one day. The recruiting method I used created a group whom can clear Coil T1-T4 in one hour give or take. Call it what you want, but I call it not wasting the group time.
oh and yes, you are absolutely right, skills > personality. If you want shit done, you don't just look for good personalities you look for skills first and foremost otherwise it is an absolute nightmare. Beside everyone in my group is skilled and a nice person, you can have both ^^.
LOL, how has no one noticed that this guy is straight up trolling.
10 pages of madposting because someone who doesn't "deserve" video game armor wants to purchase it?
Yah they think everyone who buy their armors will be skilless player i know many ppl who leveled through fate and managed to master their class at level max level its not rocket science and i cant avoid red zone due of nad latency my only choice to get thrm is buy being carried
Lol OPs bad latency. I suffer with this yet I don't get carried through content I work through it. There is also software to help your latency/ping issues that changes the way windows handles requests. Is this rokiens twin by any chance or him as a new character ?
So Big Butcher, whatcha gonna do with that WAR of yours once you're all decked out in gear that you paid for? Raid Coils? Because if you aren't good enough to get it on your own, you're gonna get laughed out of any serious raiding group, and probably fail in any other one you get into.
Get bored already and go back to trolling the WoW forums.
Nice troll :)
But for the moment FCs will not sell Allagan.
1st - get Allagan for your main job
2nd - get Allagan for other members main job
3rd - get Allagan for your alt jobs
4th - get Allagan for other members alt jobs
So yeah will take some time until some FCs will sell Coil turns for loots :)
lol @ not being able to clear at least turn 1
I smell BS from OP.
One craft to 50 only, said craft AF armor is not fully materia meld.
You can not make money with one single crafting profession, you will barely survive...
You can not buy end game armor for less than 1 million, even the crafted armor which is the closest to allagan outside a dungeon, costs around that when overmeld ( sometimes more if luck is crap).
If you good enough money to buy armor pieces for 2 million, you sir either bought gil or got a very rich friend.
Also, why do you need "cool armors"? LARP? Larp people don't need cool armors, just stuff that fits their theme. Anyways, no skin off my back, just be straight or go troll to your server forum, I am sure a fish will bite to your request.
Ah yes the players who dont want to put any effort in anything but wants the gear. He should do as others do and go learn how to beat coil instead of asking to be carried. So basicly players in XIV wanna teach other players that the best way to get ahead is to buy it instead of doing it for themselves and learning it. Oh well at least the one's who got carried all players will see that they didnt earn it, or deserve to get said gear.
So I believe there's a group on my server who are selling Coil runs now...
"Under 1 hour 30 minutes guaranteed", I didn't PM for a price however.
Just letting you know, it begins...
Oh wow this war is super decked out!
*dies to demon wall*
Wtf?!
Having played on a JP server, I'd say that selling of runs aren't particularly common within the JP community
One perspective I had was that selling of runs, takes advantage of the plight of other players and the proliferation of such services will make it far less likely for players to assist one another in a game out of goodwill and camaraderie, possibly creating a community that is based on selfishness.
Hence the selling of runs to me is a rather conflicted issue, I do not support it out of moral and philosophical reasons but at the same time, they're a perfectly legitimate service, the question is where it will lead us to.
If you can't enjoy progression through normal means, then maybe the game is not for you.
Why force it? Just quit and play something else.
I see people buying their way through lots of content in this game but I don't actually get why? Anyone care to explain why people do this? I mean you buy your way through Garuda, Titan, Coil etc. but to what end? Coil is the ultimate end game content at the moment, if you're going to buy your way through it why play the game? To me this seems about as ridiculous as buying a game and then paying your friend to complete it for you... what's the point?
Edit: Also, I think this guy may be a troll. Pretty much all of the threads I've seen of his are asking SE to make the game more like FFXI, change things to make the game easier etc.
It's his money, so he can do what he wants. If he wants to use 500k gil or 5 millions gil just to buy a cloth to wear, let him be. He stated that he wants to look cool. NO issue for me.
