64bit can improves cpu performance too... 20-25% at best case scenario. ARR is rather big cpu hog, so 64bit client would be nice.

I hoping, the D11 Client come, when nVidia push the new GTX880 Ti on Market. :cool:
A 64 Bit make sense, not only for Performance on 64 Bit Win-Systems, for Mac and Linux Versions, too.
And don't ignore the Tablet Market, they minimize the PC and Notebook Market yet. You can see it on increasing Hardware Price (RAM).
I only would like a few things fixed with this game. Better textures and shadow lods are the things I want most. I would love 30% improvement in performance as that would enable me to use 4x SGSSAA and that is pretty much the gold mark for this game with AA.
Having to wait possible another year for this is going to suck though. I was hoping they could at least do some work on LODs in this game FFS. At least for Windows.
Haven't heard any news on this in a few months. Has there been any movement? Hoping that now PS4 release is done, this will take next priority....... wishful thinking.....
I would like to hear an official update on this as well!
still no news about DirectX 11 on pc ?
My character has been on vacation since December, and won't return until the DX11 client is released!
I would love DX11. And X64.
As for 1.xx vs 2.2 1.xx Looked great till you started moving or had more then 30 players on screen.
2.x. Look Great to me. In that I get a sold 60+ FPS on max settings... unless I'm doing lost city then I turn my graphic to min...
Had a decent amount of FPS on 1.0 on max settings as it was, I just miss all the graphical detail that was put in the game rather than this streamlined mess. Everywhere you go there's some level of clipping, hell you can't even go fishing for silver sovereigns without watching a flower clip through a rock, and the idiotic part is you know the team had time to fix that but as parts were just thrown together, there was little to no care. So yes, I'm excited for the idea of a directx 11 client, and I'll definitely be asking about it at fanfest, though I wonder if that's going to be one of their big reveals.
Personally I'm more curious about the idea of, well, given that this is essentially another client and it wouldn't really effect how the servers read the characters, more in how the system renders the characters, I'm curious if we can get our old bodies back >.>;
End of the year at the earliest.

Here is the source for that.
