Maybe the whole companies thing will allow multiple linkshells to come together...unless that's already a thing, and if it is, ignore that first part!

But yeah, my idea with that is have one of your members create another linkshell so that can become some sort of sub-division of your linkshell. That way you can still kind of accept more members in a weird loop-hole kind of way.

And then...um, there can be some sort of battle royale between the best members of those linkshells. But then, splinter groups in the sub-division linkshell work with splinter groups in Seraphim which causes like, some huge shadow war thing to seize power from the heads of the linkshell. But, the old guard stay loyal and rally under the true banner of Seraphim and plan a counter attack against the new guards who call themselves the "Twin Plains Syndicate" because it sounds pretty cool. However, a third group rises out of the chaos and call themselves "The Followers of the Green Star".

At first this group leans towards the "Twin Plains Syndicate" and helps them in some of the attacks, but it turns out they just wanted to get close enough to them in order to give Seraphim info on what was going on. In the end, Seraphim wins and recovers back to it's full strength; the "Twin Plains Syndicate" are chased off to the borders of Ul'dah to plan their revenge and Micheal Bay uses the events for Transformers 4 Fistful of Robots, which would most likely suck.

but joking aside we discussed starting a second shell but didn't want any of our members feeling second rate for having to join the second shell.

Companies would fix the issue but who knows when we will get them.

Actually when we were planning Seraphim using the Linkshell limitation sizes and rumours of Grand Companies, we had planned Seraphim to be divided into multiple Linkshells. The tools to make it work are just not there for us to do it though. There is no good way to coordinate across multiple linkshells without members feeling left out. It was a tough decision indeed. If it ever changes, by all means we'll open it back up in a heartbeat.

We will monitor for inactivity and reform if we notice enough inactive players. At that point we will be able to open things up again.

Oh my god, I knew it! There are no trucks in Final Fantasy. I'm such a fool!

Anybody know how the population is doing? I checked things out a day after 1.18 came out but I haven't been able to come on since. I think my character is still at the human settlement near Camp Horizon.

cap size is actually 128 but i went and placed a suggestion to SE to increase the level cap. Hopefully someone will take note and expand it... I hope

Ahh gotcha, thanks though either way we decided to save our last few spots for RL friends/family of members that decide to play, here is to hoping SE gives more tools/increases cap.

Recruitment and New Website.

Hey everyone, we are once again happy to announce that we are once again accepting new member applications. Seraphim did a bit of house cleaning over the past few weeks, and as such we have re-pearled again, giving us some breathing room.

I would also like to formally announce our new website! We have outgrown our old home, and were in need of some new functionality. Recruitment Part Deux

Following in the belief that Seraphim is a Mid-Core group, Seraphim has members of all shapes, sizes, and various levels. Due to the nature of our flexibility, we find ourselves in need of a few good Eorzeans for a specific task. We'd like to give a few of our experienced members a bit of a break from tackling the higher Roaming NMs and Dzemael Darkhold. To that end, if you've been considering joining our ranks, we are on the look out for some extra Tanks and Mages. Our "End-game" schedule is a rotating one and tries to account NA, and EU play times.

If you are interested, stop by and put up an app. Our family mentality remains the same, once a Seraphim, always a Seraphim. To also clarify a bit of confusion that we recently ran into that caused a bit of grief, if you do wish to be a Seraphim, you are not required to drop other Linkshells. We do hope that you don't prioritize other Linkshells when we are holding our events though. We ask this so that members who sign up to attend events don't get abandoned by mistake and encourage cross-member play. We'll gladly clarify this for those who are unsure if Seraphim is the right home for them.

Um, yeah. I was member of S12 before disbanded (starting with the leader). I know many who said they join this Shell but never been invited. I chatted with them while they still were on but still need a pearl... or w/e. It's been months since then and almost loosing interest in the adventure.

If anyone cares, send me a tell (while I'm on) or refer me to your leader. Thank you.

Though I do make it a point to search for accepted applicants to provide them a pearl it is generally their responsibility to seek out a council member to obtain the pearl.
