Exactly. Have you seen the long hair options for Elezen females? There's two, and they're really the same thing, just one has bangs and one doesn't. There are two other shortish styles I'd maybe consider picking, and the rest are just ugly. We really get shafted on hair choices.

MakotoNano, you should probably request some of the Miq'ote styles, most of them are very short and one is a really cute tousled look like what you're looking for.

But there are many women here who have been asking for long hair since alpha, and some of us since 1.0.

I want them to modify the hyur ponytails so they work with the mi'qotte. Or at the very least give the mi'qotte a decent new ponytail design.

My Beauty Salon Wish List~

1. Fuzzy eyebrow option for Keeper of the Moon Female (SoS F/M and KoM M get the fuzzy eyebrow options already, please add it to KoM F too)
2. The ability to change skin color through the Beauty Salon without needing to use a Fantasia
3. More hair styles
4. More tail styles and maybe even different ear styles for Miqote
5. New Miqote Face marking patterns and the ability to choose which type we want

That's all that comes to mind for now.. :3

I feel all of them are either pigtails or too short.

Edit: I'm really excited for the barber shop regardless. I just hope the actual cost of the barber shop isn't crazy ridic. If anyone has any information on the costs to actually get a make over i'd appreciate it.

Nope - Yoshi specifically said to expect clipping in this game and you can see it on almost everything. They're more than likely concerned with overall performance.

Curious as to why eye shadow and blush can't be used together. I can understand the actual changing of the model itself for sizes, but textures for more complete makeup or tattoos shouldn't be that difficult.

I find it sad tht freckles is the best option to come out of this....not even all race hairstyles can be used on any race!?!?! really? ill stay optimistic but this report just doesn't get me very excited.

still hoping on highlander male eyebrows added as an option

edit: i remember during beta on the forums it was said that not having eyebrows was probably a cultural thing, but this makes little sense considering the playable highlanders don't even come from ala mhigo

even roegadyn males have the option of having either or (there's even a bushier eyebrow option)

They were probably just saying that because of Miq'otes. Since they don't have ears on the side of their head, some hairstyles might look weird on them, so they probably won't make them available to them.

^ Yeah, it's lame. Sadly, I knew the old "memory limitations" and "hardware limitations" bullpoo was coming up. This is why we can't have nice things.

Anyways, some of the additions Hvinire pointed out are pretty cool though.

May have missed it, but since I am fickle as all heck, I didn't catch whether or not eye color will be changeable in the Salon? :)

Also, mini-wishlist for it:
- some more hairstyles (can always be added as they go)
- eye color (maybe it's already in there?)
- some more crazy hair colors ^^

I forget the article but I've read eye color changing will be supported. The only things I don't remember reading where race, gender, skin, height, muscle tone, and face shape.

I glad to see at least some race hair style will cross over, hopefully more than just 1-3 per race. That alone will stretch our options without requiring a great deal of manpower on Square's part.

Also eager to see what new hair cuts come out with 2.1. Hopefully they spent most of this focus on the neglected races instead of just dumping a bunch more on the already well supplied race like Midlanders.

The crescent moon face marking and freckles sound really neat! <3

I admit I am disappointed about the vague information given about long hair though. In the beta forums I distinctly recall long hair for male characters being listed as "we'll add it later", yet from this reply it looks like no new styles will be added for the gents? :( I remember seeing concept art for a few gorgeous new long-ish styles in a past live letter:

- slightly wavy, elegant shoulder length style (Elezen male)
- wavy hair partially pulled back in a loose braid (female Elezen)
- long twin tails (Lalafell female)
- long dreads (female Highlander)

I would love to see these added, and for other races as well. ^^
