How will current content scale when the level cap is increased? I'm worried due to the fact that there's a lot of level 50 content right now, and it will be obsoleted once the level cap is higher and people choose to ignore it. (who's going to do 50 content when you're 75 and the gear is mediocre?)

Also isn't there too much level 50 gear?

Question on the Housing:
Will there be any perks for culinarians and any special features if a characters house has a kitchen? Will there be any perks for any disciples of hand for crafting in your own home?

Are there any plans to make ilv-90 crafted gear?
Are there any plans to balance certain item drops to be more common to discourage RMT (Fleece?)?
Are there any plans to balance Philosophy Item cost to make Crafted gear more competitive to DL in terms of cost? If not, are the crafted gear items going to receive at least a 25% stat buff as that is currently how much more they cost on average?

When will we see the important housing added to the game, meaning not FC housing?

With the introduction of housing, Can we see an increase in the number of retainers we can use? Or perhaps an increase in their inventory capacity?

Are here any plans to add a horizontal progression for gear like it was in XI and the first version of XIV? just being a vertical progression can get boring and old fast.

It'll be no doubt that we'll be able to craft our own furniture; Will there be furniture that can house certain materials?
Such as a cabinet to store food materials or a chest to house weaver materials; ect.

What is going to be done about the lack of quests and options when trying to level another class/job to 50?

Much like the Adventuring Fellow system in Final Fantasy XI, will there be other companions other than just the chocobo such as the path companions from 1.0? If so would we be able to customize them just like our retainers?

A lot of the emotes for Elezen Male are fairly lack luster. Such as our /dance and the animation for us logging out in an inn room. The sleeping position looks like they're having pillow talk with their bed sheets.

Are there any plans to add a true /sleep and/or /liedown emote?

(Not housing, I know, SE can ignore it if they want all housing questions)
Is there a macro/text command to make your pet do things? I've been trying everything I can think of, but I can't get a successful pet macro going.

Later in the 2.0 Storyline, we were able to learn a new emote; the Imperial Salute.

Will new emotes be added? And will they be learned through one time quests?

I'd love a /lean for vertical objects such as walls and large crates, and maybe and arms crossed over your chest. A lot of NPC's can do this so why not player characters?

Any word on musketeer?

Are there any plans to add in another Disciple of Land class that focuses on getting meat, hides and other "none gatherable monster drop only items" such as webs and sinews?

For recipes such as dyes and fishing bait/lures can you make it so high quality results are possible but produce more of the item being synthesised, for example: bait being 10x on normal quality and 15x on High quality.

Why are there no random spawning treasure chests around the world of eorzea? They only appear in dungeons and sometimes when you do leve quests.

Can we expect to see the addition of new Jobs and Classes (Beast Master, Samurai, Dark Knight, Corsair/Musketeer, Ninja and Thief) in Update 2.1 or 2.2?

Also how Chocobo Breeding would work in the future? (such as we are limited to one Chocobo and how to find a partner and have a different outcome aside from the same breed of Chocobo)

And lastly can we expect to see other mounts receive the same treatment as the Grand Company chocobos? Such as a Legacy chocobo set as a Companion for Battle or a Coeurl? etc.

I was wondering since you hinted towards another class branching off like the SMN/SCH did from the arcanist. Can you give us a hint to who will be next? I really wish it would be the Bard/Ranger split from archer I wish there was a true physical ranged AD with ranged AD limit break.

Will running earlier dungeons again provide chests with rare drops for housing, such as better crafting materials or useful, non battle based objects?

We need a reason to keep running them (increased exp would be a great thing of course) but the chance to find a rare crafting material or pickup a particular object from each dungeon would be great. Having a series or set of such objects (perhaps from a specific region) could then give a boost to the FC or individual.

For example, having all the Limsa dungeons drop a specific crafting object or 'part'. These objects, when collected in a set, can then be crafted together or melded onto something to create a new, rare bit of furniture that gives an overall exp boost, VIT+1, spell speed +or something similar.

I'm thinking along the lines of treasure hunting for 'bed parts' or 'statue parts', so that when you have the set, you make a badass 'limsa bed' or 'gobbie statue' that provides a boost when placed in your digs.

This would be a great reason for those in their level 50s to go back and help newbies, especially if you only get the object after beating the last boss.

Will there be special outdoor furniture that can be used for DoL classes?

Example:

• placeable Koi Pond that players can go fish from
• placeable Oak Tree that players can harvest lumber from
• placeable Ore Vein that players can mine from

Mannequins were notoriously difficult to obtain in FFXI. Will you be making it easier to get one in ARR?

What are your plans to increase server stability and reduce latency problems?

The game suffers from constant lagg spikes, 1.0 levels of delay on actions at times, especialy for european players the game is borderline unplayable at times, for alot of players the game is not enjoyable in is current state due to masive latency issues.

Will two-story housing have an option for a balcony? It would be nice to watch the sunrise from our house.

Their is classes for that its all the fighting classes.

As for questions are you going to fix the log out animation in the inn. where your character lies down and then gets back up just before the screen cuts out.

Also are DoL and DoH classes going to get a proper artefact set like the DoW and DoM get. Abilities for fisherman using tp will we get these.
Also will you be reducing the cost for TP moves on Miner and Botanist 400 is a bit steep.

What do you think of a quest maker for the free company housing. This would allow company members to design quests for fellow members to challenge and earn rewards.

How will (crafting) buffs work in housing? Is it item based or location based?

Example:

• You place Cooking furniture. You gain bonus to Culinarian quality/experience.

OR

• You cook in the kitchen. It grants quality/experience bonus for Culinarian.

I especially liked some of the Advanced Jobs in FFXI, such as Samurai Dark Knight, Corsair and Blue Mage. When can we expect there to be new jobs in FFXIV:ARR?

Also, I like when characters gear can look unique, and noticed that most High Level gear right now all looks the same, as you cannot dye it. I'd like to know if there will possibly be gear that you could craft that may rival the top gear in the game, and also when we can expect some vanity slots and items for those slots, so our characters can look more unique. Right now I am a lvl 50 Monk, so I look like every other Monk!

Will your own house and FC house count as a Sanctuary?

Will there be a quick way to access your house, perhaps the possibility to purchase and place an Aetheryte crystal to keep in your FC or personal house so you can get there quickly?

With Final Fantasy one of the aspects of the game is focused on the job system. So my question here is not if there's a plan to add new jobs, because that will eventually happen, but when will this happen? What kind of new classes and jobs can we expect in the foreseeable future?

Question 1: After making loyal final fantasy fans sit thru this mockery of a final fantasy title. Are there any plans to get to the roots of what makes a final fantasy game a "final fantasy" game in a new mmo geared to more strat based combat/hardcore or non amusement park?

With the current state of the job distribution in the game, some of the classes/jobs that are hard to find are tanks and healers. With the majority of people playing DPS classes, are there any plans to make these classes more reliable. At the moment the rules of the game are set in stone and makes it inconvenient for many people to form parties. I guess the main question here would be: Will SE consider a more flexible approach to jobs or even add new ways for DPS classes to either take a tank or healing role?

Non housing related questions:
1. Will Free Companies get a set of achievements that FCs can work together to get? Examples:
- # of times the FC has mined/ fished/ wood gathered/ etc
- # of times the FC has synthesized crafting items
- # of times the FC has done dungeons together with 3 or more members
- Complete all dungeons at least once as a FC group
- Obtain 1 of every maxed class in the FC, and other types of achievements that can yield rewards like trophies for homes, new icons to use in FCs crests, perks, companions, mounts, or vanity items? Gives players something to do together with their FC.
2. Will we ever get the ability to see the Market, purchase, put up for sale, or see if what we put up sold on our smart phones?
3. Any plans for expanding our inventories? Or possibly make it so our crafting materials get pulled from retainers as we craft?
4. Will we ever be able to make bardings for out companions? Would be wonderful if we could! Be something nice to collect as well.

Housing related:
1. Will we be able to display achievements/ trophies earned either by our self, or as a FC (see question 1 above) in our homes?
2. Will we be able to have our companion lounging around our homes outside or inside?
3. Will we be able to craft in our homes? Will we be able to initiate buffs in our homes that contribute towards it?
4. How exactly will housing work? It's a small area for thousands of players. Would we just walk up to where our houses are (the plot) and become instanced to see our home? Or will there be many instances that house a number of houses so others can see how our houses look on the outside?
5. How will inviting our friends to our homes work? Will homes be able to be opened to the public so anyone can just walk in?

Question 3: Are there any plans to bring back legacy controller style. The pluss controller configuration is anoying.

One of the aspects of Final Fantasy games I really enjoyed was that I was able to explore the world around me. With the current state of the game what people are doing is redo all FATE battles and return to the same instances over and over. Are there any plans to release content that will go more into exploring and fighting around eorzea? Otherwise I feel the areas done by this game are lost at the moment. There's no real interaction between the locations throughout the game and the player.

In final fantasy 11 there was an option that would allow you to craft in groups (Synergy). Will there be a similar system introduced in this game where crafters can get together to achieve better goals?

Will we be able to use color dye on furnature? IE. An oak sofa, we dye the cushin' red,or blue ..etc etc?

I remember that during the early days of 1.0 there was video snap shots of a event where Tanaka release footage of co-op crafting inside of your freecompany house.

One screenshot has two lalafells crafting a huge cake, like a wedding cake. Another screenshot showed a player crafting an actual boat. Now I'm not sure if it was a airship or a boat because it just had the frame of the boat being built. Can we please get these features added to housing and not be scrapped?

Why do you let botters gil spammers and exploiters run rampant but ban people trying to make honest gil

Currently most of the jobs have a system where their abilities are user centric. Are there any plans to make abilities interact with abilities from other fellow players?
