As a 50 healer, I've NEVER had problems with tank threat

The problem to be fair is the fact that a lot of you appear to be pugging.

Enmity generation isn't a problem on neither white mage nor scholar if all parties involved do their job, are playing on a relatively equal level of gear and know how to use their class specific rotations. Yes, there are some slightly more tricky scenarios such as Titan with just 2 healers, especially if both are 2 white mages. However, as long as the tank isn't heavily undergeared compared to the white mages it's not an issue.

There really is nothing of what the duty finder throws at us right now, in which enmity has to be a problem. Regarding of which healer or tank class is played.

I have no idea how people are saying regen is a big hate puller. I use it almost every chance I get. Either that or the tank I have with me is a damn good one. I barely get hate even with cure 2's. I do know that I screw up at times so I can't say its always the tanks fault *shrugs* it just depends really

Regent is a problem between pulls. Such as u casting it before the fights over and than the tank pulls a new group than u instantly get all the aggro. Good tanks will check beforehand but I don't use it near the end of fights for this reason.

I know how healing agro management work thank you.

I also know the difference between this and poor tank agro management and while you do make a valid point I have to say sorry...you are not entirely right either.

I'm in a 400 player active guild. We've been one of the largest active guilds (with actual people online) in MMOs for awhile and on our voice servers I hear it from lvl 15 to lvl 50 about the poor tank agro management..and yes..even healers...but more so for tanks. We're pretty seasoned MMO players so it's not like we're just stating this stuff and not knowing what we're doing.

I main a tank and have a healer up to Brayflox.

There are tanks who can't keep threat on multiple mobs. They do exist, and there are a lot of them. So don't dismiss other people's experiences just because you don't run into them.

While this is true the tank needs to pull his weight. A *LARGE* number of tanks are not. I am around 6/30 getting past THE FIRST BOSS in Longstop because of completely crappy tanks. Adds spawn, I drop ONE CURE and all three are eating me alive causing me to spam cure myself or die.

OK 6/30 might be high. But I do know I clocked in at 2/6 two weeks ago trying to get the rest of my battle mage set. 1 of those 2 we kept wiping at the final boss.

I use regen more than anything else and have no problems. Even when mobs rush me on a pull do to regen any tank worth anything will have grabbed them all before they reach me. Only time I seem to get hate thats not controllable is when I use benediction or when tank has crap gear and need divine seal cure 2 spams just to stay 50% healed. I had some Ak runs with warriors that required nothing more than regen and cure. So boring I would dps as a whm. Had some runs where I could hardly keep the tank alive without Spamming everything I could PoM, DS, Cure 2 etc.... I didn't think over curing was possible but I guess you can do it. Regen ticks with Divine seal do 400+ I guess if you throw a cure on that when there full hp something bad happen. I don't know but agro management seem to be more of a dps problem.

I heal on both 50 sch and whm. I love my weak heals on sch and not worrying about my hate, way different story on whm... oh and sch never runs outta mp!

Op needs to get over himself and see the bigger picture and other scenarios.

I tend to run AK and every once in a while the big Iron suit things will come over and whack my Fairy before going back to hitting the tank.

For some reason this amuses me especially when it goes like this 'Tank pulls without the fairy regen on him. I stand in the back and watch as the big iron guy ignores the tank and simply moves over and whacks my fairy who I positioned after my tank pulled."

I've seen that happen a few times and it just amuses me. Its like they 'remember' the fairy or something xD
