How to get your Relic Weapon Quest

If I started the quest on my monk but didn't finish it, can I also get the quest for my dragoon? Or, do I have to either finish or abandon the quest on my monk to get the quest for drg.

Your gonna have to abandon the quest on your monk because you can only have it on one job at a time.
