If that's when it happens (most), it's good to know. Thanks for the findings. Of course I still hope S-E will fix it, but at least now we should be able minimize ability waste in the meantime..
I think it does add up with when I've noticed my BfB failing. I probably tried to do a GCD action, then spammed IR for a second and then spammed BfB, then went back to doing normal attacks. I've since then not bothered trying to do two off-GCD actions in a row.
Still keeps happening at least on dragoon.
Still happened to me on my bard yesterday when doing WP. It seems to happen whenever I'm spamming AoEs. Fix this junk SE!!
Bard here, abusing Invigorate every chance I get when AoEing (WP, turn 4), never a problem. Odd, it seems the bug is random and not job-dependent at that.
It happens to me all the time with infuriate on War. I have had mages in my group complain about it eating swift casts and benedictions. Not much you can do about it. Its an engine problem.
This happened to me last night in turn 4 I was pissed. Not just that but Perfect Balance has not given me the effect about 4 times so idk whats up with that.
Any buff just gets bugged sometimes, and also long animation skills(Demolish/Touch of Death) does in my experience.
I bet it's lag.
That bug also happen with Aetherflow (SMN / SCH), not givin any stacks and man it suck
I had invigorate bug two times in a row for me...it wasn't fun :P
I too do believe this is lag induced issue... similar to those drink pot, recover 100hp, get a 90hp hit, and die thing
Those who got no lag will never notice and SE in Japan will never care because of they domestic-heavy tradition
