Finding groups in /shout chat end up being just as bad as DF groups in my experience with people either being bad and causing multiple wipes, or party members giving up and leaving, forcing the rest of us to leave since we can't just queue for another, etc. The community in this game is just the worst I have seen.Quote:

Being the tank helps in that, but in DF, you have 2 tanks and 2 healer, only takes one of them to speak up and it's all good. Hell, even a DPS can say that if people wants it to be smooth.
So instead of bitching here and just say "welp, community is bad, boohoo" why don't you just man up and say to those bitchy players to shut up and that you won't enter the boss room until that new guy have watched his/her CS ?

What is it with people and Meridianum...it is not the most efficient way of Philosophy farming. Praetorium is. The difference is...to be able to Speedrun Praetorium requires the whole party to have really good gear, otherwise the boss fights just stretch too long...Meridianum can be speedrunned by people in AF easily...thats the difference.
I have yet to see a CM Speedrun that beats our 19min average Praetoriums in our FC.
And the biggest plus for me is...almost no trash and the few trash that is there can mostly be avoided except for the ones that drop the key you need. And the rest is just boss fights...none of them take longer than 2-3minutes.
I rather run Praetorium 5 times before doing CM even once....CM is just annoying. And at least you got a decent boss fight in there(Ultima) with one of the greates battle music scores in the game...
I used duty finder for CM and had no problems. I made it clear I was new to the dungeon and people said it was fine. One boss was pulled while I was in a cutscene, but reading the chatlog led me to believe the tank did not realize I wasn't ready and pulled my mistake, some people in the group got mad at him for it. Once person mentioned I could watch the cutscenes in the Inn, but it was just that - a suggestion! No one seemed upset (even though I was the only person watching them) and we flew through the content. It was a much, much better experience that I expected honestly.
Now if only I could find a group to beat the preatorium before the timer expires. :(
Yea the community is certainly worse than in WoW ( good job managing to beat that game) and people are all around assholes.
This is what happens when you take nerf/fix the "Farming" Dungeon and make the Beginner/Story Dungeon the best way to farm Tombstones

I think this is unfair to blame on the community. SE is the one that designed a 2.0 endgame that relies solely on 2 dungeon runs to gear up for BCoB. Most of us have ran these things dozens of times, sorry if we don't want to spend a second more than is necessary.
this also happened to me today.
I was so happy that i finally got lvl 50, and then i go finish the story line.
On the 1st dungeon was a bit weird, they waited for me on every boss except the last one -.-
(and the wait was really just on the bosses, i missed most of the mobs)
It didint feel good for me,
but its ok, cause i know that dungeon is the best one to farm tomes.
And duo to the silly community to only want to make parties for HMs(specially Titan) with people having full darklight set.... players have no choice but to do very monotonous speed runs on that dungeon..
Then on following and last dungeon of the story, it didint go so well..
Yes the cutscenes are big.. but they are important..from what i noticed, all the stuff that happens there needs the immersion of the cutscenes to work out.
They never waited and made me miss 2 bosses, and when appeared the message saying i was about to miss the 3rd one... i raged quit right away..
the feeling of playing a game near its end story for then to not be able to fight the end bosses...
I really cant understand why they are doing speed runs on the last dungeon and ruining the game for the rest of the players..
and yes, i know that in part is SE fault, cause the way that dungeon is designed, it should never promote speed runs by rewarding tomes at end..
The runs aren't that fast you still have to fight and use cannons and what not. My first time through on whm I didnt do anything lol. everything was dead before i got out of the cs. It wasnt till I started farming on my brd that I actually got to see the place. Speeding through and AoE spamming is fun.
Those CS are amongst the best in the game. Worth watching the first time even if your group whines. Doesnt bother me either way I just like killing stuff.
