No, it's 30 seconds for skills with no cooldown or the skill's own cooldown.

I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.
and how many times of running back to your body did you have to take rez sickness cause your body was unreachable? Thats a big issue with runnin back.
lol, when i seen that i thought "why did it cost you money to switch to WHM" because i was thinking D&D where GP is money...then i was like "oh, right, gather points...not gold pieces"
--edit--
on topic:
if i am running through an area and i see someone dead i will res them (though usually if i see someone dead they are AFK and won't accept the raise...because people not AFK go back to their home point as soon as they die) also if i see someone having a tough time with an enemy i will stop and heal them and keep them healed until they are done with the enemy. i wish i could buff them, i miss that from 1.0 just giving random buffs.
nothing helped a low level player grind enemies like getting stoneskin and protect casted on them. feels good, you feel a bit invincible, like "yeah take that glowfly! want another!? what are you looking at beatle? i'll kick your ass too"
i loved getting random buffs and i loved giving random people random buffs. was nice, you know you made someone's experience a little bit better.
but now all the buffs seem to be party only...why? why you do this SE? LET ME HELP PEOPLE!
If you die during a levequest, and port back to town out of the zone you are in, you will fail the levequest and that levequest will be wasted. Getting a raise means that you don't fail the quest, and can be very important if you're on a tight allotment of levequests.
