no its not - try reading my WHOLE post, including the part where i said IF YOU CAN LOG INTO THE GAME JUST FINE ANYTIME YOU WANT then why do you care if someone is AFK?

Why is afking even necessary anymore? On Excalibur, the most populated and congested server, I get at most a 9 person queue during prime time. Takes me like 2 minutes to log in, tops. No 1017s.
Ehm, the 1017 errors were down player caps being set so low as to not saturate the woefully inadequate duty server cluster. AFK players were a convenient scapegoat for sheep such as yourself to rage at. I'm sure it'll be fixed at somepoint, but in the meantime, who really cares? I get queues of a minute or two on logging in at peak, but I'm yet to see another 1017 so frankly, I really couldn't careless if a few people want to get around it at the risk of some time in Mordian Gaol.
Get over it and enjoy the game.
It's not all about just "logging in to the game", it's about that you have to render all these characters everywhere you go.
I'm sure I'm not alone on this, as there are some camps I cannot even see the "quest" or "levemate" icons above NPCs
because there are 80+ people sitting on top of the NPCs AFK. It can get a bit frustrating.
It goes well beyond clicking start>your character>ok. It still affects the gameplay whether you think it or not. It affects
server load, fact. People who think that it doesn't change anything by having 500+ chars by an aethernet are kidding
themselves.
And even STILL, I have not seen one reason to stay logged in besides "I wanna read FC chat". Log your paranoid ass
off and go outside.
i read your whole post - it said you are upset the server is full of characters to render that would be rendered even if ppl are not afk - so i told you to go play the game since you can log in just fine instead of staring at afk characters being rendered (but you are fine with staring at playing characters being rendered???)
pretty fun solution, dont you agree? /shrug
It is not even necessarily a exploit, you have never started a crafting macro and got distracted by real life? I know i have, and was certainly not trying to stay logged in.
I still need to queue to get into Leviathan. Off hand I would say ~75% of the time I get a put in a pretty fast moving queue. I'm very thankful for the auto-logout feature SE implemented. I hope this exploit gets fixed if logging in because a problem again.
