It's not even something that can glitch out of the blue lol.

its been like that since the patch, i'm guessing it has something to do with the music getting cutoff instead of fading in and out like in the past between fights/leves/behests etc.

I question if it is a glitch, since CS music, city music, crafting music, and battle music is still working. It is just the outside zones with music cutoff, combined with random new saying from the npcs, and GMs poping up talking about the impending doom. I highly doubt this is a glitch.
