Really? just give up and dumb the game down even more?
no.
Ps3 players, runaway from them or will drain your life, your spirit and your soul.
Some people like me have to use DF because the big FC my group planned, fell apart. We formed one anyway, only 3 members, but we get things done.
Point is, some people can't join large DF, because doing so makes you a sellout to your friends and family. I mean would you betray your brother for awesome loot?
On topic, difficult content has a purpose, to turn a bunch of weaklings into a formidable fighting force.
I use to suck on BLM, constantly embarrassing myself on Excalibur, getting whipped by Garuda made me a better player.
Did you post a new thread describing DF players as horrible?
Did you demand SE remove the DF function?
Do you assume you have to use the DF?
I would hope that your family and friends would wish to belong to a FC together.
Mine do and we have a glorious time of it loose/win.
Wow, way to generalize there. I play on PS3 and have yet to be the 'squeaky wheel'. I was in a number of Longstop runs that came down to tanks kiting away from melee DDs, healers with bad positioning and bosses standing where they shouldn't. Not once did it come down to the console anyone was on. Heck, in a Haukke Manor run the party all but wiped on the basement boss, leaving me to kite the skeleton alone, and I killed it from near full health. It's not the console, it's the player.
To bad, its a MMO, get some friends together and run it or just be the better man and tell them what to do and not complain the whole time.
I think what they should do instead is impose a minimum number of dungeon runs before you can queue for certain ones. If your forced to do every dungeon twice before you advance you "should" have plenty of experience. At least with Garuda being part of the story, it assures me that everyone has at least a little experience. It also means you didn't Fate grind to your current level and just randomly decide you can take on Garuda. As a WHM, I ask if you've done Garuda in the Dzemael Darkhold, The Aurum Vale, and The Wander's Palace dungeons(They are not part of the story and can be unlocked at appropriate level). This question is mainly directed toward the tank and if they say no, then I assume that they Fate grinded to their current and they just decided that now know how to tank. I end up leaving immediately because spending 90 minutes trying to teach a tank stuff they should already know is NOT fun. I've failed a dungeon twice by running out of time because of this.
Lol, Jayded, I've been reading through your responses, and I have concluded that you, sir, are a cutie pie. See signature.
