Part 12 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we speak with our mentor at the Adventurer's Guild in order to progress our single-player storyline, which sees us heading to a local gambling establishment to follow up on a suspicion that the terrible events of the parade incident were not so much of an accident. Once we've witnessed Thancred's cunning ways of getting information out of somebody, we're tasked with heading off to find our singing and dancing friend F'lhaminn who is off practicing in the northern reaches of Thanalan.

Part 13 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we head north of Uldah, out into the Thanalan Dessert, as we hunt down the songstress of Ul'Dah (F'lhaminn) who is rehearsing in her special hidden spot. Once we find her we become embroiled further in the mystery surrounding the recent death of a miner and subsequently his surviving daughter's grief stricken plight to find out the cause. We end up being sent back to Ul'dah's Thaumaturge Guild with a very unusual notion to entertain..

In this episode we head back to Camp Black Brush to take a detailed look at Local Levequests, specifically concentrating on the production craft of Weaving. We go through the steps required to initiate a crafting Leve, setting up your crafting ingredients and tools, and most importantly of course how to actually craft and produce goods using the relatively complex in-game system.

Part 15 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, Final Fantasy XIV, by Square Enix.

In this episode we take an indepth look at the very latest update to the game: Patch 1.18. We begin by looking at the changes to the configuration menu, including a whole bunch of UI changes and new options, before heading out into the wilds of Thanalan to test out the new combat changes including the new 'auto attack' and 'emnity' features. We finish off the episode with a culinarian levequest session where we find some welcome subtle changes to synthesizing.

In this episode we finally take a look at one of the remaining gathering professions in Final Fantasy XIV - Mining. We equip our pickaxe and interact with Camp Black Brush's Aetheryte in order to initiate a basic Mining Levequest, then head off to the far north of the Thanalan desert in order to find three good spots for finding ore.
