I don't see how any of those you listed at the bottom have anything to do with the topic. It is wrong to take advantage of this unless I see something from SE that say's "This is the way to take the most advantage of the guildleve system and what we recommend"

Stop complaining. If you don't want to abandon your leves, then don't. Nobody is forcing you to abandon your leves. Useless thread complaining about nothing that is in place because SE figured some people would rather repeat leve quests than do a leve that doesn't give as much sp. The person abandoning doesn't get marks or gil, and you get gil if you complete the leve. This isn't an exploit, mobs spawning endlessly when those mobs should stop spawning is an exploit; spamming buffs and getting to rank 50 on a job because of an sp exploit is an exploit; abandoning a guild leve is not an exploit, especially when it is put in place by the creators of the game.

Most systems in this game feel really unpolished, unfinished, and "wrong". Would you answer "yes" to any of the questions? Do you feel wrong for "taking advantage" of any of the systems mentioned? This entire game is plagued by weird systems, the failing one is not different.

Nevermind the fact that Square Enix said it's fine to cancel guildleves. I've seen the quote Alexia always talks about when the topic comes up. I don't blame you for doubting what a fellow forum-goer says, but you're fighting a lost battle.

EDIT: Just so we're clear, I'm not advocating for this system to stay the way it is. Changing the guildleve system would have a very high priority if it were up to me.

I am so tired of these stop complaining comments by other players. Why don't you let the people that want to discuss something share their points. If we want to complain we can. If you want to complain then do so. Oh wait, I guess you just did.

I think you misunderstood? The reason people cancel now is due to the EXP, if you have like 20-30 or 50 leves with equal, good high EXP, why would there be any reason to cancel, when all leves just give the same at the end of the day? ...

No, I'm trying to tell you that you have no grounds to call this an exploit, given the situation of this entire game.

The fact is this has been going on for a very long time and SE are well aware of that and have done nothing to stop it so it is not an "exploit". As Applepie stated "actual exploits" of spawning endless mobs and the spamming buffs to get crazy SP were dealt with by SE as soon as they were aware. They have done nothing to stop the abandoning of Leve's, why? Because it is not an exploit that's why.
