Well, you know, look at the bright side: at least you don't have to resort to timezone converters 8 out of every 10 times a maintenance schedule is posted. Because, apparently, everybody who's not in Japan, lives in the mighty USSA, in its Pacific region to be more precise.
wow complain you can't get in to servers then when they announce the time to resolve complain some more.
A this time I would like to apologies to those fine people who are working 24 hour days trying to resolve these issues who have had various idiots who in some way found it was necessary to step over the line I would like to assure not every American player is a dirtbag or a hostile child with spoiled behavior keep up the good work and do maintenance any way you please so those who don't act like 2 year olds in a walmart toy section saying mommy mommy i want it now.

The only people complaining about this is people that work full time and people that play till 5am everyone else is fine with the maintenance.
Doesn't matter because we, in the US, wouldn't be able to log in during prime time anyway. I say do it and get it done in the hopes it will fix the problems.
I'm just glad they're finally taking the time to fix things. I'd much rather have a scheduled maintenance (regardless of the time) than to keep having unscheduled maintenance that kicks me off the game constantly. Besides, this will force me to get up and walk away from the game for a while to do other things I've been putting off for probably far too long! :D
For the record, the maintenance will start at 7PM for me, so it's prime play time I'll be missing out on as well. Like I said, though, I don't mind. It's not like it's the first maintenance we've ever been through and it definitely won't be the last!
I'm honestly in disbelief that anyone is upset over the time in which they're scheduling maintenance given the fact that many people cannot even log into the game.
All I want is for them to employ their fixes. Why on earth would you care what time they schedule this so long as they fix the problems at hand! Good grief.

Long maintenance sucks, yep. But I'd take a 24 hour maintenance over continuing with the current crap.
Sounds like the same people that are self righteous enough to stay logged in for 3 days straight because they don't like trying to get into the game meanwhile preventing other people from playing.
one night of your life isn't going to end it. You made it this far through your life without FFXIV, you can make one more night.
Who cares about maint times. Just be happy that they are trying to fix the issues that we are ALL experiencing. As I have stated a bunch of times, I am happy that all I have to deal with are congestion issues and not buggy/lacking content. :)
