I do believe that we should give SE a chance to fix issues but then on the other side why on earth was the server stress test so short? Why was phase 3 or 4 so short? The problems in phase 4 wasn't solved a week later which indicates that they needed more time to test it.
SE should have learned something from other MMO launches and tried to avoid all those problems that the game has had since early access.
Tried uninstalling/reinstalling it ? If it didn't work, try installing the game under a different user account on your PC. If that doesn't work, and you have a spare partition try installing a fresh windows on it and installing the game after. Basically im sure theres an install condition you could find to have it working. If theres no error message, the image seems to be missing the web content, maybe its a firewall issue ? Did you disable your A/V before installing it ? Tried running the installer as "Run as Administrator" ? Could be that there is software interfering when you're installing it, that's why its worth installing it under a different user account with maybe AV/FW disabled.
I've tried everything: Disabled both my AVG and windows firewall, Turned my AVG internet security off, reinstalled it several times since launch day, then I tried running it in compatibility mode and it worked everything showed up started to install the game and then lost connection to my internet( which is very common cause our ISP sucks in our town) then I restarted my computer and then it started being blank again so I run it in compatibility mode again and this time it didn't work.
All in all I just want to play the game, it was worth my 49$ but it just refuses to let me install. :'(
Except there's no 'stupid mistake' in MMO startups. Would you rather they spend ridiculous amounts of money on extra servers they'll only need for the first month, only for them to gather dust as the login rates settle and dwindle? No smart business would do that. Every MMO has a proportionately larger # of people logging in at once up front during launch as opposed to the actual # of players once it evens out, and thus we see these issues happen in most MMO launches. It's expected, and, really, there's no economically smart way around it.
