Bump.
Anyone have the link to where we can report to SE for now?
Needed and will work wonders if SE will follow up quickly
(please follow up quickly)
I just wanted to bump this for a great idea. Right click to blacklist would be awesome.
Bumping in hopes more people see this. Also, thanks to all for the likes and support for this thread.
We need that implemented quickly because things are getting very very annoying now. I get private messages of those spoilers every hour on Leviathan... please SE, make our life easier with that. We report them to you, that's something we do for the community, do us a favor ;)
Bump for further discussion. I heard thery banned a bunch of accounts, but that still doesn't mean they should not implement a way to report spammers through the chatbox.
Bump for visiblility, RMT spammers have destroyed the local chat on Adamantoise and run rampant 24 hours a day
The spamming is out of control. I am tired of having to black list over and over again just to see chat. Some of them take up to 10 lines of my chat box in a single spam message. By the time I get them blacklisted, there can easily be 30+ lines of spam text.
yeah need this ASAP, it irritating to see RMT spam chat box, and some times through tell
I totally support this thread.
We definitely need a RIGHT-CLIC feature to:
- Blacklist => prompts a simple "yes/no" confirmation with the name of the person being blacklisted.
- Report => opens the active desk support window (on the correct pane).
The decision is pretty simple for a publisher: do you want the burden to be on your lawful customers, or on the people who abuse them? Whose side are you on?
As it stands right now, the process to blacklist (let alone report) someone is so obnoxiously convoluted that it not only places but outright adds a real burden on the person being abused, should she want to do something about it: open the menu, write the correct name (and a freaking weird one with gold sellers), confirm... it's just way too long and complicated, it ruins the game experience. It shouldn't be so. By the time you get to blacklist someone, that person may have spammed/insulted you a dozen times more. This is not acceptable.
