Sick of White Knights?

I am very pleased with the game so far, and am very happy with the job SE has done. I guess I'm one of the few veteran MMO players that understands launches rarely go smoothly, usually due to server issues. I am also very understanding, of the fact that they will fix the issues, I will get to play, and a few days of issues is nothing to be upset over.

With MMO's in general, if you try to play it the day it releases, it's best to expect issues. It's just how things go with MMO launches (usually, there might have been 1 or 2 that launched rather smoothly). Call me what you will but I am no fanboy, nor was I a defender of version 1.0. I just love the fact that everyone working on this game truly cares, and it shows.

The main point to take away from all this is that, is it really worth being so angry and vicious towards them? What does it gain? I have been upset over MMO launches, including 1.0, but that never warrants such hate. If a game truly displeases you, move on.

I never did understand the mentality of "i'm not satisfied or unhappy about a particular thing so i'm going to behave like a total asshole until i get what I want." When my kids throw a temper tantrum, they never get what they want. At least not from me.

IMO Whiteknights are the ones who attack others for being upset or frustrated. The issue is they're not letting people speak their views and opinions, not what exactly those views and opinions are.

Best exemplified with "Don't pay" "Leave" "Good we don't need you' "You people are toxic"

Ending in the lovely and ironic : "Our gaming community will be better without negative people like you around"

The funny thing is... those white Knights DO need us... how else is the game going to keep running if all the dissasatisfied customers up and left? Simple. It wouldn't.

Just like people have pointed ou the "extreme" white knights and how they are kind of ludicrous, so are the overreactions of the majority of the "black knights". I just wish people would keep a cool level head but apparently I'm asking too much of the internet.
