34 hours have passed and still not a single word from SE.
I tweeted to @Square_Enix_EU, @FFXIV_News_EN, @FF_XIV_EN and mentioned to @SquareEnixUSA. Lodged 2 support tickets and nothing... It's like the support team just run to hill and hide!
I'm having the same issue. My account shows my 1.0 copy was registered in 2010 but does not list my acct in mog station. I've been trying to get support for my issue since Saturday and nothing. If this was a new game I would have no problem purchasing a copy, it would be expected. but the fact that I purchased this game already and they shut it down because it was broken - I have a really hard time rationalizing purchasing it a second time.
I spent an hour and a half in queue for chat support last evening just to be advised there were no agents available and to try again later once it was finally my turn to be connected.
Did you have any active character before 1.0 was retired? I had one and it brought forward to ARR just fine. I have my 1.0 char in Beta 4 and Early Access with just single service account (FFXIV 1) with all the CE items applied already. Now I just want to add a PS3 client!!! Urgh!

Not sure if this will help, but it's worth a shot
Maybe only for Windows version, but absolutely useless for PSN purchases as the registration code tied to PSN/SEN which will need to be linked to SQEX on first log in.
I think most of us can log in (and presume the authetication can see our SQEX account) but it returns with "No valid service account" error.
any mods going to comment on this at any point in time? i know alot of user are unable to log in because of the realm full issues but i cant even have the joy of endlessly watching the opening cinematic.....
