Forcing everyone to craft, Is it good direction for FFXIV?

Umm how blonde are you.... I didn't mean they are not importent... I meant they will reconsider the npc repair fees once the game gets more money sinks. Yoshida posted it in the thread ppl want to get translated.

I know crafters are importent proof is they are classes. I suggest keeping up with m, or ask what i mean before you insult me.

the reason ppl are stingy is its like paying for the full price of gear you already own. Like buying a card for 5K and another 5K for repairs. They coulda bought the same car new for 10K. People will buy new thing all the time instead of repairing stuff.

Cant they add "Repair Search" a la "Party Search" that we have currently now? so if you put request, ppl can easily track you whether you need repair on NPC repair or Mender Ward(sp?) or on the camps?

I only brought 1 weapon with me all the time; because i only need Carpentry to repair my weapon.. :P oh wait this thread is for those ppl who dont like do crafting.. sorry :C

once again proof you dont know what you are talking about

gear doesnt cost 5k, try more like 50k-5mil each
so 5k for a repair is not making you pay the cost again

... I hesitate to respond to this Eva.. I really do.

However, there is this little nifty thing they added called a 'Menders Ward'.!!!

If you stick your retainer in the menders ward seeking repairs for your equipment, 'it will be taken care of', especially if you're in ul'dah menders row. I'm sure there are some rare cases that may take some time. But overall, I have listed 5-7 repairs at one time, and everything was taken care of within 2 hours. I just offered 1-4k gil per item to repair. If you don't want to wait in game, then put it all up before you log off for the day, and pick it up at your next play session.

It was called an example. Its like saying you payed 5000 dollars for a car and were required to routinely pay 5000 MORE dollars to service your car
