It's stupid... there are probably like thousands of unplayed beta characters on moogle and people who have paid money for early access can't get early access.

I have friends who have spouses joining the game who can't play with each other cause of this... Not to mention the friends who I personally talked into getting this game to play with me. I can't believe this... My 20 friends and I get locked into full servers to keep us away from new players, but now our friends who want to join us get locked out... Come on SE, this is BS and you know it.

Really, there is no way for anyone to justify this. For example on moogle when I logged in (yes i have character from beta 4) the queues were as huge as 15 players, and it was like hour after the server was already restricted. In MMO it really is the same as not being able to play the game at all for people who would play the game with their friends. It's not a solution to say to them that "go play on other server", as they would have to start it all over later or pay to SE to transfer their character to server they wouldve wanted to play on in the first place. Its absurd that a server is locked right away on the first seconds of EARLY ACCESS. SE really f'd this up.

I don't think they understand...the people waiting to get on the locked servers are not just going to go to another server. They will wait or give up on the game altogether.
They should just lift all restrictions on character creation and let the very high queues sort it out. Those who got lucky in BETA 4 and were able to make characters should not have preference over those who were not so lucky or recently purchased the game. Everyone should wait in the same queue. -

I like how there's more JP servers than NA/EU, considering the western world apparently has way more players.

It's called "early access", not "priority access". This procedure was already made clear beforehand, and all the complaints in the world are not going to change it. Continue banging your head against a brick wall here, or go back to the game and watch for a door to open..... I'd prefer to watch for that door ;)

You know what the best thing in all of this is? The fact that as usual SE probably don't give a s**t. They've always treated customers just as a money in their wallet. Their customer service is horrible, as we can see it now again. Is it because of japanese culture or what is the problem? When it comes to for example Blizzard, they have always been so much better when it comes to customer service. And they have like 50 times more customers.
