I never received mine. In fact, when attempting to register my 18 digit code on my receipt from purchasing on the SE site, I kept getting error 3. Yet it still shows the game as registered on my account. Have not received anything from SE since then, especially nothing regarding a new code. Yes I have checked spam folder, etc.

I got it. I entered it in.

Not sure if this really matters but I was using firefox to try and put my code in and would always get error 3. I just decided to use chrome and I got it to work after 3 tries, and got the 20 digit code and put it in. Getting the client updates now.

Update regarding this, at least for some of us (NA PC players at lest):

For some the issue was that we registered our game codes, but never got the early access / pre-order bonus codes, or it would give an Error 3 when trying to submit it. SE just fixed that issue (about 15-20 minutes ago) and if you go in and redeem your game code now, it should accept it, give you your Early Access code (20 digit code) and allow you to activate it. After that login for the game should work.

Just did that myself and was able to login just fine.

I still get an Error 2 if I try again to get the 20 digit code :(

Hopefully SE will fix this. I am a legacy player and still a no-go for going towards Early Access (still telling me I have no service account for XIV ARR). I'm feeling shi**ed on (and honestly I can say that there are people who are feeling the same).

I'm also getting this. Why would another code be needed?
I thought the current client was all that's required; I participated in beta phases 3 and 4.
Didn't think any game time/payment was required until official release.
What gives?

Where "AAAAAA-000-AAAAAA-000" is the code that was given to you. I thought I was fine because I registered the first 20-digit code I received when I initially got into the Beta but I had to redeem this code here to get into Early Access.

***Edit*** I am currently downloading my client updates so it worked!

As a Legacy player who started with the "no valid or active" error, and then the 3108 error, I fixed my issue here. I think SE failed to automatically upgrade my Legacy status to Early Access, and there was also some problem in moving it from Windows to PS3. So there were a few different problems and I hope that helps someone.
