Early Access and NDA for video live broadcast

If you think about it, it makes no sense not to lift the NDA for EA. If you want to advertise a game what better way to do it then letting players post videos of gameplay. Even during OB they should have lifted it because even then everyone who signed up got in and those that did not sign up obviously have no intentions on buying the game or are taking a big risk in hoping its going to be what they want.

They should just lift the NDA. It's not harming anything at this point.

It really makes me curious as to why they would keep the NDA up on Video & Audio event during the early access. Its only 3 days so hopefully people don't do anything stupid and get in trouble. But its still odd that they would keep it under lock and key still.

So until they say go ahead, I wouldn't. Many of us have XI accounts as well but wouldn't risk it. There is also no way your XI beta account is still linked. THat was well before the SE account system was in place, and I was in the original Ps2 beta a over 10 years ago, and it was never linked.

Did you read it at all or simply click accept on both parts? On the first section it covered reproduction, transmission of content. THe second covered account use and rights.

The first and Video/Audio, concurrent images was stated until the 27th. At which point you will probably have to click an udated version to agree too.

At any point they could say go ahead, until then, the current one you clikc after the update 2 days ago for the EA client remains in effect.

Skimming over the documents I dont see where its stated that we cant release video during EA. I'm trying to troll here. I really would like to stream, but dont want to violate the User Agreement

I emailed and asked for permission to stream video during early access over a week ago. Their response was you may not stream video or audio of the game until the official release on the 27th.

There have been a few instances........very very few. Where permission has been granted for video and audio. Best thing to do is report them and if they are not allowed S.E. will handle it.

Before you are allowed to play the game there is a user agreement you have to agree to Rex. if you don't, you can't play.

As for what others say.... I can understand not allowing some streaming since it would spoil any story that may or may not happen for people who have yet to play the game. Final Fantasy is story driven and to spoil that for people who have yet to play is something I just won't do. I'd love to make some videos online for it but as I said I will wait for Official release.
