I reported an issue with my name, I could not change it the way I wanted. A GM told me he was putting my name in a list of people who have encountered this problem, but I did not get a second chance today.
I dont think anyone yet has had the chance to redo his character.

Uggh. I thought I was the only one!
I wasn't able to export my benchmark data to client either... Effectively ruining my character in the process.
That and I ended up in Ul'dah as a GLD when I wanted to be a Lominsan Arcanist! :[
I just submitted my ticket so I really hope I'm not too late.

Anywho! Any update on this? I've yet to receive any confirmation from Square Enix or acknowledgement via email.
Still haven't heard anything from them on this matter. I haven't even had my original support ticket handled yet. Sitting at about 8 receipts in my e-mail from them promising to contact me regarding this, but it's been over a week now and nothing. Really would like to get them to respond to this, since they went ahead and came out with a statement regarding it. But heck, I can't even get ahead of anyone in customer service to begin with.

It is also a 30 day veteran reward available to anyone that subscribes to the game, a one time item that will allow you to change how your character looks.
Check your moogle mail everyone got a potion that allows you to change your character upon next logon after taking it.
