Lodestone Forum Regulars Easter Eggs in ARR???

Remember the auction house in Limsa that was locked up and the guard said that if you listened carefully you could hear screaming? I'd like if that room remained locked, only now the guard would warn you away based on the ungodly stench coming from it. Mention something about me leaving almost 100 stacks of various fish on my retainer for half a year.

Poor Placentia. I hope she's alright.

I think the main thing to remember here is that Catapult has been regularly preserving lore, understanding the story, reporting localization bugs, and generally just being involved since the game came out. I've been hanging around the Loc/Lore forums since both went up and, like me, he's always been there.

Ferne's been peppering little references to issues esoteric to the Loc/Lore community all over the place for a long time. Spend a few years having fun and helping them polish their product and reaching out to their community and see what happens. That'll probably get someone a lot farther than making judgments about who "deserves" what treatment.

Unless...

Incidentally, if my Cameo turns out to be a placeholder to either avoid spoilers or fill in for the as-yet unimplemented Hero of the Maelstrom then I will fully understand. This is beta, after all, and the text is not finalised.

If so, you'd expect there to be a similar mention in the other two cities for the respective Grand Companies. I only got a few hours in Limsa over the weekend, so I didn't see any of the other 'conversation' in the game outside that fine city.
