that's actually pretty impressive for a first cosplay! I'm not sure I could pull that off

LOVE IT :D
btw Sky, what face paint did you use?
I have seen all your con photos and took a close look at your white make up.
On some parts it got a bit dapple/spotted (sorry my English is very poor D: ) so I was wondering which one you used.
I could recommend you the brand Kryolan with their Aqua Colors. It's professional make up (not that expensive)

It would give you an even more perfect look if you want to cosplay Garuda again! <33 (I hope so, it's so enjoyable to watch your photos ^^) Kryolan Aqua Make up is pretty awesome. It's very covering and won't start to crumble. With a sponge you can make the best result. I used it for my Hollow Ichigo Cosplay in 2008 :3
I would totally love to see you cosplay Shiva!!!
In fact, I'd demand jpegs of that. DEMAND.
Wow, that looks pretty good! I loooove the gloves :O
Edit: Darn! I almost went to Animazement this year xD I probably would of seen you too
I honesty cant remember what I used. My friend let me use his. It was several layers plus a lot of powder. But I'll def keep this white make-up in mind! Thank you! ^^ And yes, I'd like to try Garuda again.
I'm also going to try being Lady Lilith from FFXI for my next cosplay:

LOL Before Garuda was decided, I was on the fence between Garuda and Shiva. The only reason why Garuda became my target was because I have never seen a Garuda cosplay before. I love trying new things and being different. Though it made it even harder when designing the cosplay, as I had no other cosplays to go off of XD
I wouldn't mind trying to do a Shiva cosplay sometime in the future. And if I do, I'll post photos for sure!
Awww that bites! It was so fun! And I was a little sad that no one recognized me, but there were quite a few people that wanted my photo. lol
And thank you very much! ^^ My gloves were my favorite part.
Very nice job! I like that you let us know how you did it too. I've always wanted to cosplay, but time and money have always been a big issue.
very very nice!
I see you're in the same boat as me XD I too, am working on my first cosplay (for this weekend in fact). No sewing machine, no sewing experience. Fabric glue is my best friend >_>
Glad to see yours came out great!
There is something so artistic about your interpretation of Garuda. You step beyond the character and into your very own class of summon. That is to say, I think Gaurda should take hints from you on how to present herself, not the other way around! Simply amazing!
OMG it looks awesome!
Really cool one, enjoy with it :)
