If you check the .dats they actually mention Thancred's job which roughly translates to "swagger". I hope this helped.

Seriously though, he's classified as bard in the lore, but he carries a sword in the instances (goobue fight, speaking to him in various quests etc). He uses the daggers in the main cutscene tho >_> Dat crazy bard, using his lil knives against Gaius van Baelsar

he even refers to himself as a bard.

I think Bard is more for the speaking, not the job.
In fact he is a heartbreaker <3 <3

Instead is class is more Gladiator, like Yda is a pugilist and Papalymo is a Thm...
But so a new question... and Y'shtola?? She is an Arcanist?
Or Louisoix... scholar?

Btw these are hard questions just because game is changed a lot... and maybe what could be an arcanist will be another class in 2.0 :(

Y'shtola was a conjurer. She had a wand. My question is, what was Urianger? I don't remember seeing anything else that looked like his weapon.

btw Y'shtola is (for me) the more strange pg... she have power that no one other conjurer have... she can multiply herself and other power :/
