Name change? Is it happening?

Pretty sure its the image he was using. Copy the URL and try to open it and you get the same prompt. I mean... it's not sumn Ruk woulda done ;) but it's okay. Everybody gets one...

Yay! I've been waiting for this confirmation for so long!!

Edit: oh and I got the user/pass message too. Reading it, it sounded like a request to close the thread was being sent somehow, but of course us normal users don't have the credentials to do so. Wonder what's causing that behavior...

It's definitely the image, whatever it is. I tried to pull up the image in a separate tab and got the same request for a username and password.

Last I heard the change of appearance won't be available until some time after launch, but now I'm not sure =$

Not sure where you heard that, but yes, like he said, when you log in (after Phase 4) you'll be able to re-customize your existing character and change your name! :)
