What about an "Idle" animation where he takes out a can of an energy drink with a red bull on it, he drinks it and after a few seconds of not responding to any kind stimulus he falls like a rock holding the same can?

Don't you redbull use a fake name, maybe they could make a side quest about the substance. Like a "drug dealing" quest where you gotta stop the vile stuff from taking over. hildabrand style? (off topic i know ^^)

If it looked like a moving wooden puppet I'd like it, but if it was just a tiny person then it would seem a little cheesy to me.

Instead of making it a short version of Yoshi-P following you around smoking, why not make him a small robotic toy, and the cigarette is the magitek exhaust pipe! That way, he can still have smoke coming off, but he won't just be a little Hyur following us around!
