I thought they "solved" the issue of having a single sex race by adding female highlander, female galka and also male mithra? Kinda seems dumb to me to even want to go back to this topic....

I mean, they added the new genders to the prior races to even things out right? Not because there was really a need for a female galka anything, but just to even things out? Seems dumb.

I'm all for Viera, but it seems weird to me that they plan on implementing it in an expansion pack (which Im guessing would mean I would need to create a new character to be one)

Adding new races in a later expansion for a game that is designed around the idea of not restarting your character seems like a wasteful idea to me.

Personally I'd rather see the resources used on enhancing the current races more for the next expansion (more animations,emotes,hair designs etc) and resources designing new armor and such for the current races rather than having to spend the time and memory resources designing current armor sets for a new race.
