Best bet says Orbis and Durango will both be announced to varying degree at E3 this year. Given the usual production cycle, release will probably be somewhere between a year to two years after that. This cycle seems to have a quicker release phase than last cycle (WiiU was released the same year it was announced), so Orbis and Durango by the end of the year seems plausible.

But wouldn't the FFXIV:ARR be just the same graphic quality as the PS3 instead of the PS4? And plus I don't know when E3 is gonna start this year. :<

Could be, Sony and Microsoft could pull the carpet out from under us and do a stealth launch and release close to the same time as the official announcement. I wouldn't hold your breath though. Companies like their hype. They'll want to advertise for at least a few months after the announcement, which hasn't happened yet, and probably wont until E3 in June.

Scalable graphics are basically different for any machines even FFXIV 1.xx was lagging on my MacBook Pro with the lowest settings, however, tried alpha and it was much much smooth (various settings) but not as good as my high-end desktop computer. The PS4 is going to have a different CPU/GPU than the PS3's cell processor. Due to the PS4's different CPU programmers have to rewrite the code to make it working proper. I think porting from PC version to the PS4 is more easier than porting from the PS3.

I think E3 is gonna start at June like every year.
