This is suppose to be a discussion about Geomancers -.-

Will not all jobs need to have aoe placement geo and sch could be the first two jobs that can do this. Sure Geo wont have strong terrain placement and then SCH would have all the terrain placement that anyone touching would gain from it. Like rain terrain placement could help WHM with water spell and cure spell. Fire terrain can help out DRG to do there 15min and help BLM cast more powerful Fire dmg
I mean that just a idea they could come up with something really dumb or something better let's just see what happen i don't see SCH or GEO being releasing anytime soon maybe 3-5years from now. Seeing how people want to see RDM,NIN,SAM, and other jobs more then GEO/SCH but at least one day we get them :)
{Can I have it?} Yes please, and thanks for asking!
Well, let's see what your topic is saying...
That's all what you can explain about Geomancer...? Oh, it's your fault for putting other jobs into this thread so we were screaming for Red Mage.
Elexia is correct, it's hard for SE to think what to do with ARR. For Blue Mage, it's so not ready yet even we need more monster's skills first before they can do that.
Now back to the topic. I just researched and tried to understand what the hell would that Geomancer affect the online experience?
This... Hmm... It would be annoying if you (as a Geomancer) can change the ground even without our permission. I think it would be a good idea for instanced dungeons. Like it's impossible to walk through the lava so you can change it to (freeze one...?)Quote:
ge·o·man·cy
Noun
Divination from configurations seen in a handful of earth thrown on the ground, or by interpreting lines or textures on the ground.
Or whatever mobs's weakness (fire for example) you can change the ground/weather from winter to summer!
That's all what I can think. =/
I love Geomancer, and would love to see it in the game. Though Before that, I'd like Red Mage, Puppetmaster, and Thief. >.>
You're very snippy, aren't you? As I recall, Geomancer was my favorite class in FF3. It's a mage class whose abilities not only depend upon it's level, but also upon what kind of terrain or weather is going on. So it's abilities change depending on the area and upon what ground it's standing. It's very interesting and tactically challenging that way.
