Is there any way to create new characters without actually doing it...?

I think the first benchmark is just that, a simple benchmark. We're supposed to get a second benchmark that is more of a character creator. I'd bet that we will be able to import chars from that.

but, you are still going to run into the problem of all our existing characters having their looks already set. Will you be able to import your character designs for your existing characters that are "already" at lvl 50?

Or will the character creator ONLY be able to allow you to create NEW character designs? Now I understand that this character creator will not be able to change your race/sex, but only change your look.

Secondly, if all your available character slots are full, how are you supposed to mess around with new characters when you won't have a slot empty to create a new one?! You after all only get 1 character to play with unless you pay for additional character slots.

Or will it be like you create a character design template that you can import in the character creation process to make your character look like what you designed in the character creator benchmark?

I think because 1.0 is no longer running, even if you do delete your current character, you will not be provided the option to create a new one. The option to create a new character is not available.

We just have to be patient :)

For myself, I could spend days on character creation, I had so much fun creating my Lalafell :D

It is still possible to create a new character even during these last few hours.

I just created one out of curiosity. ^^;

In ARR you have many free char slots with no extra fee.
