It would be nice if they would have told us that all we would be missing is a bunch of standing around with endless mobs as we've been doing for the past couple of weeks and then a disconnect. I was expecting we would at least be automatically shown the trailer video at the end as a cut scene or see dalamund getting closer in the last couple hours, or the weather changing or something. Nice job SE. A whole night of staying up until 3AM to be disconnected, lag, and then be disappointed. Where is the cake?
Been awake until 9AM, carrying two PCs all night to play together the greatest end battle of all times, just to see an R0.
I don't know why i expected more than what we've got today, at the end we saw today what has been this "game" for the last two years.
Good Job, Yoshi-P!
Actually, I think the Matrix Online had a far worse end, at least some people were able to log in.
That being said, ARR is a different game altogether, you cannot judge it based on the failure of the first version. We all knew the servers were crap, did you really think that the venue was going to support the crush of people who logged in for the event? If it makes you feel any better, those of us who did get in were still R0'ing periodically throughout the end, and you didn't miss much either, just an hour of killing high level imperials, Vanguards, and two Juggernauts. then everyone R0'd at 3 am.
