Yes, this is November 9th. a full 24hourish before the fall.

Exactly. We opted for a day before to avoid overlapping with the actual end of the world. That way we'll have plenty time to party and have fun once reached our destination :D

Also, this way we have something to do tomorrow, instead of just waiting :D
