The GM was walking by Uldah near Rowena and goblins had no speacial name or skin, just like sabotenders in gridania zones.

Interesting. I guess this means Goblins will be a hostile force in 2.0?

Happened on Durandal Yesterday about 6pm gmt +1 no screenies though.

Like mentioned above a french speaking Miq'ote GM reporter asked everyone to go to the front gate.

I missed most of it due to being afk at the time, but the goblins were level 56 at the end and a Goobue spawned mid way through the fight. No reward as far as I could see just everyone getting together and killing.

Maybe stress testing for the next wave of Imperial invasion? have some respawning Brass Blade defenders at the Gate of Thal constantly fighting respawning imperials but leave the gate of Nald free so that low levels can walk in and out of Uldah without getting killed.

With the Brass blades there it would mean that in the instance of no one doing the event the Imperials wouldnt be standing around like muppets like they did near Blackbrush, Bearded rock etc in the previous stage of the invasion but prevent them from accessing Uldah itself and reeking havoc.

It happen in Ridill it was not Goblin but Qiqirn was the same NPC but talking in Eng. She did say that maybe attacking them would make sure other Mobs don't get the same idea. So with that in mind i'm guessing that it would be diff for each world at diff hours.

At the time i was playing at the lowest setting so i was just watching shows on the computer and the npc pop so i went out and did it no screenshot sadly :( but i'm sure someone else would have taken one.

The reporter Kipih Jakkya (Event GM) was cheering us on and saying things like "I wonder why they are here. They are normally so peaceful", "You guys are so strong!", "Thanks for raising all the dead" etc. She is also the same reporter from the latest "Last Word" post on the Lodestone: http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com...6d5767ae15c7b3
