I know. But Kafeen asked how we can get 2 same u/u gear.

That we can only put an item in 1 gear set is not the best, but at least the normal equips would be out of the inventory. For u/u gears that we want on multiple classes but don't want to farm twice we can only let it in the inventory and equip it with macros outside the gear sets.
I hope we can equip gear sets with a command so we can use gear set command and equip command in one macro.

example:
/equip main "the weapon you want"
/gearset "your DL set"

with this your complete DL set would be outside your inventory and you need only all the weapons in your inventory.

So if you get an awesomely rare piece of gear then you want to use conveniently on multiple classes, tough! You need to get another one too? What if the item is unique so you can only hold one?

This sounds awful. I don't see how this is in any way making it easier for players to use. Surely, easier to use would be drag this item in to this set. If you want it in another set, drag it into there too.



You can only form Free Companies under the same Grand Company? What about all those linkshells that exist because of the lack of Free Companies from launch, all with existing members in all 3 Grand Companies. All those linkshells hoping to change to a Grand Company when they were finally released? These too end up disappointed again because they can't all join the same Free Company.

This also makes it sound like they're limited to only 4 people. I hope this is only bad wording.

I'm starting to get worried about A Realm Reborn.

Basically everything you said was misinformed. Sometimes I wonder if people look for things to take out of context or even take things the wrong way intentionally to cause a big deal out of nothing.

Yep, FFXIV forums, you'll mainly see this when someone mentions other FF games around these parts.

A new ability called "Sprint". So we can run faster at the cost of TP.

More like bringing back Quick with a new name and costing TP. I don't mind it as long as I can use it cross class.

It seems to be a cross class ability, because when he showed off that ability he wasn't an archer. ( too busy reading text to see clearer what he was on at that time :P)

Sprint seems more like a universal skill, it's being used on every discipline.

A bit late but good to see.

I really like what they've done with gathering.

Expansion = Expansion.

Major update = when they introduced Al`Taieu content into XI versus when they added more missions to a storyline for example so something with a lot of substance and content is a major update in SE's definition.
