TONBERRY MOUNT for lalafels only! Piggyback rides for the win!
We need to be able to ride them inside the city
I think the coloured chocos looked kinda stupid.
But like someone else said, chocobos should be main mount as it is Final Fantasy after all. Just make them more customizable with different gear (like add more barding stuff etc like we already have).
I don't see the need to have loads of different mounts, I'd rather have something else in the game... Like pets we have at our house or something.
I would still like my Ahriman mount. Guess that lost out to the goobbue wtf!? i was hoping the ahriman would grab you with his feet and you would hover over the gound but not too high as to not make it like flying.
SE won't even have to insinuate... people will start demanding it days after it's implemented anyway. Not asking. Not suggesting. Demanding. How do I know? Because I read these forums.
It goes something like this...
"Well, -such and such- MMO*** lets you fight on your mount, so there's no excuse XIV can't, unless SE is lazy, because it's not that hard. They could totally do that in a week. Just add some new attack animations to the mounts and boom, mounted combat. No I'm not a game developer. No I don't know what goes into something like that. I just know these things for a fact, because I say so.
This is 2012/2013! It's a FACT that by 2013 all MMORPGs should have mounted combat! Well, okay, I made that up myself, literally as I typed it. But still, if I want it, then it follows logically that everyone else must want it too! And if they don't, they're a troll and need to GTFO. So, do it, SE! Implement mounted combat. If you don't, it means you hate your playerbase, don't care at all about what I.. err.. I mean we want! It means you want the game you just spent all that time and money developing - twice - to crash and burn!".
Hmm... that was a pretty good impression of the "entitled gamer", if I say so myself.
*** = Any MMO other than FFXI. FFXI is the only MMO you're not allowed to request, or even suggest a feature be implemented from. If you do, blood-pressures red-line and heads explode spontaneously all over monitors in a violent, hyper-emotional, knee-jerk reaction followed by the over-used and always irrational retort of "stop trying to turn this into XI!". After all, XIV had absolutely nothing in common with XI when it was first launched, and people want to keep it that way! Oh wait...
MOTORCYCLES! >:C
