Well, most of the updates over the past several months have had several hidden things in them. So I wouldn't be surprised if there are some surprises in store.

It felt like a whole lot of HUGE dramatic stuff was teased for the 1.0 finale in the 2.0 PDFs, and so far we've gotten...some monsters spawning at Aetheryte camps. Color me underwhelmed so far :/

Yea there is defiantly more then meets the eye here. If this is all they had planed they could have slid this in with the a patch and turned it on like the imperial attacks.

the actual size of the patch should be interesting.

Wonder what Atomos is going to do differently at the aetheryte camps it's already been camping out at. Seems like it's spreading out too. Doom and gloom!

so then this is not the patch that wraps up the story line? Any confirmation on 1.23c?

SE has added secrets before like the Garlean invasions and they never announce seasonal events in patch notes.

They could have added more and just put a timer on it, perhaps not to spoil what will happen over the next 2 months.

The storyline done through quests is already wrapped up. Everything else is coming with live events.

I think the problem is that SE most likely considers the weather changes, Dalamud getting closer, re-colouring some aetheryte crystals and removing an NPC dramatic changes.
