Double EXP periods. {Can I have it?}

Sorry the game super easy to read and there no need for drops rate or anything else the reason drop rate sucks is due to the fact that they need to make 2.0. The point of 1.0 is that we did all this ourself if you make it so drop rate and exp is better for the few last weeks so people get catch up then what was the point of us playing a not so great game that needed to be fix in the first place.

So ya no thanks Zhyrios if people want to get where the rest of us are then work for it like we did everything out be outdated by crystal tower is release anyways. even x3+ meld on gear would be the same or around the same as x1 meld from what yoshi-p said.

I would love for that Grand Company event they did a while back to make a reappearance.

Imagine the festive atmosphere, the soldiers in uniform telling you to join up! And of course the bonus 2X seal gain on stuff you did!

Now I believe you should probably cut it down to 1.5X and reduce the duration onto possibly the 2nd or 3rd week in a month. But hey, you'll get your players playing. What I'm going to assume PVP will be GC related anyway, be a nice morale boost to get people to participate, who knows... this game may have a nice and balanced pvp set up and assorted pvp gear that will be expensive to buy.

you seem to have the mentality that more time consuming = higher difficulty. For that I feel sorry for you.

Double XP events are a MUST HAVE.
Casuals (the majority who's going to play 2.0) will be very happy to gain more xp without having to invest to much time into the game.

While exping may already be easy, that's not to say that they can't find a way to properly implement this. It could definitely be used to draw in players, and a way to coax those who may not play all that much to at least get more time in.

It doesn't necessarily need to be an "every Saturday is double exp day!", they could make it active during in-game events, and perhaps make it only apply to characters who have completed said event to get more people doing them as well.

Hey, that's why I say make it during a span of a week.
Cause I know during that week is when I'll have the most success making a pug group to do things I want.

I think they should give doubble exp and raise droprates during Christmas.

Double Drop-Rate Periods!

Why bother? We already have many ways to boost XP gains. If we didn't have those already, then I would say we could do something, but as it stands right now, I think it's the perfect way. It lets people play their own way instead of "I'm only going to log in on the weekend, because without 2XPWKND it's a waste of my time".
