Why i quit FFXIV

I mean, if i had Fur all over my Body i wouldn't want to walk around fully clothed in the Summer heat. It kinda makes sense on Hrothgar. (Not even joking)

Yes FFXIV has changed a lot. From a Game that stirs every emotion making you laugh or cry, to a game that makes you skip half the Cutscenes cause you can't stand another Word from Woke Lamat. (SPEEENEEEEE LISSEN TO MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII)

Its just fast food for Raiders now, pretending to be hardcore but using forbidden third party software to make it much easier. (We do not need Hard content if no one plays it on the intended difficulty now do we?)
Normal players are left in the dust with nothing to do besides Expert and one Raid once a week.

The biggest issue is SE's president that pushes way to much stuff on FFXIV's team so the MMO doesn't get the attention it needs.

I'm quitting because I'm extremely bored. There's stuff to do, but I do not want to do it.

Well, that and my FC basically doubling down getting offended by me saying that if it's not an event like a map night or a mount farm nobody plays with each other which is 100% true and they kinda of Mean Girled me out by getting offended at me for telling the truth about that was happening. So it's a little of column gameplay with a dash of FC drama.

If you actually stop playing, then you've made the right decision.
Do what I did. I also canceled my subscription and only play when there's an event I want to play.
And when it comes to the most unfriendly community that has formed since 2016, you're right.
You just have to look at the replies to your post.
They probably think they're smart and funny. But in fact, they've revealed themselves to be exactly what you wrote in your post.

Like who? Doing what?

Despite the giga 18+ players running around, nowadays you can block them and not have to see their characters. They also don't really approach anyone unless they are also p*rn addicted... It seems you actively provoked them. Don't do that!! The game still has a lot to offer and there are still safe spaces away from these players, just don't go looking for spaces with them ??

Calyx going "Those fools and their damnable heroics >:(((((" should be enough of a indication that the writing team is still vomiting all over the walls and not worth a revisit. We are legit getting ARR disney cartoon villain ascians again lol
