yeah there isn't an exact release date yet we all know it's going to be soon though we just have one more patch before alpha and all that hopefully they're giving us time to do the new content and do as much as we can before shutdown. I was just saying the price wasn't going to be 19.99 atleast not through amazon... checked gamestop and they're showing original ps3 version to be 59.99
The PS3 version is going to be markedly different from the PC version, so I doubt they'll do it for free.
I do think it should come with some custom content though.
At Sony Gamescom 2012 presentation they mentioned Cross-Buy. They want to try to implement it on many games that have cross-platform play with PS3. It is a feature of which if you buy one cross-platform game with PS3 or PS Vita versions then you only need to buy one copy of the game to play on both systems. They've already done this with one of Valve's game called Portal 2. Buy one copy and you'll be able to play it on Mac, PC and PS3 with your same account.
So its possible they might do it with SE. Would be cool
PS3 Version should come with that Meteor Survivor T-shirt Yoshi was wearing
However SE already said you need to buy both versions and actually register the PS3 version key if you want the ability to play on PS3.

If you look at your SE account notice you will see FFXIV windows version registered. You can not log into the PS3 version with your account unless you have a PS3 code registered as well. Even if your friend has a PS3 and you want to log in on your Windows account not going to work without a PS3 version on your account.
Most of the video cards that meet the spcs for the game have DVI or HDMI out so it can be hooked to an HDTV. IT looks great on a 1080p TV in 3D.
