That exerpt seems like it's just based on the Black Mage 7.2 official explanation that SE provided. Most of us took what they said to imply they were making future fights faster. And, if you have done the new raids, they 100% did just that. If you hate DDR, you're gonna hate these raids worse than almost anything you've done before (one of them is a literal "dance" with a dancer).
