Up until the Limsa portion of the Hildibrand storyline, his antics we're slightly amusing at best, more eye rolling worthy than anything else. But when Hildibrand revealed himself at the end:
The way that entire scene played out, a culmination of all his other encounters and eccentricities, I laughed for five minutes straight.
He'll survive into 2.0 for no other reason than to thumb his nose at that dastardly Dalamud. Him and his little assistant, too. -

Actually just finished the latest quest with him. I was so surprised and amused by the ending. XD
I'm assuming I didn't just watch him DIE, so but now... he's ON Dalamud maybe? How will that work out? Also, OMG, what did they do with Darnus' spear THIS time?? -
