Good, then I want to add that desynthesis and materia melding noise gets removed from the game. Actually, all the crafting sound is annoying as heck.

Oh, poor baby. How ever would you survive in the real world? I personally like the sound effects & will make sure to use it more often around big crowed areas again like hunts. I haven't seen anyone use that emote in a while over extracting/melding sounds. At least be more upset about the sound effects that plays when you turn something in the FC or when the retainers comes back with items.

Throwing in my support as well. Hopefully this extends to other noises made by emotes like /sweep. Give us the option to tone it down or mute emote noises specifically. Misophonia also gets underplayed too often it's not even funny.

Spamming emotes is actually a restricted activity. The rules are not precise about what constitutes that.
I'm pretty sure 'nuisance' use of an emote even if it's ongoing rather than repetitive could be covered if the GMs are sensitive enough.
So at the very least report every infraction.
