that's because you need a fixed party to reach level 50. In a matched queue party you won't be able to complete the ultimog anyway

If you have a queue that isn't instant then you don't qualify for the ultimog anyway. 31+ is fixed party only. Find a friend to carry you or make a PF. Alternatively you can just solo it in around an hour like I did (maxed aetherpool).

It would be nice if the Moogle Tomestone event took into account where you are between the several expansions and adjusted itself. Currently, I'm stuck in ARR (because the payment processor situation keeps me from playing my old account) and it kinda sucks seeing Deep Dungeons for the tombstone event only be available for the Stormblood Deep Dungeon and not the ARR one. :<

All of the Weekly/Minimog/Ultimog Are level 61 (Ultimog) and 70, 80, or 90 for the others ones even for characters still in ARR or HW.

Could we have some choices? Even the alternative choice for the weekly Fates requires you have the Endwalker Island.

Why is it so restricted? Can't their be choices for lower levels?

I know you can slog it out with the standard objectives, however, I don't see the point in being so narrow in the other methods.

This should incentivize to proceed further in the MSQ or get a subscription. Most players are tired to play low level dungeons & only the Crystal Towers alliances.

There are plenty of other ways to get the google tombstone's. This is a problem that you, yourself choose to create when it isn't a real problem for most players at all.

Yes, the game is the same routine everyday and the mog tomestone events are usually double down on this routine and that is exactly the issue i have.
We do not need more incentive to run content we already do on a daily basis.We do not need more lvl100 player doing community service by running Alexander and Praetorium.

OP was complaining that the weeklies have stuff in them that they do not have access to. Which is a fair complaint, but its hard to feel bad for it when players on the level cap who are already bored out of their minds are "forced" to do ARR content everytime during events like this, just so that no one feels excluded.
I think it is more than fair to have a weekly quest every once in a while that might not be for everyone. Especially because the reward itself is just a currency that you can get plenty of other ways anyway. If the rewards were exclusive, that would be another story.

The better question to ask in this whole system, is why the lvl100 folk dont have alternatives on higher levels?
Or better yet, why even have the low level options to begin with when we do it anyway thanks to the roulettes.

Just wait until ARR players try to rely on bad rng to get the wings mounts by playing the same fights over and over again. That's a real grind, the drop rate should still be improved.

None of which are remotely accessible to low level people. The fact they never fail to put prae and a bunch of ARR dungeon garbage in here is better than it really needs to be for new players given these are veteran retention events and you aren’t going to retain many veterans asking them to spam one button in ARR content when by and large that’s what we get in the roulettes anyway

I feel like this event continues to cater to free trail players. Leveling in this game is far to generous & should not be an issue any players to complain about.

I have 2 that have completed Dawntrail, one in the middle of Dawntrail, and one at the beginning of Endwalker. I also pay a sub. So if this is for your alt, then why complain about the moogle tombs at all since you can farm it normally? And your friend should just focus on the MSQ or find another way to get the currently since there are ALOT of other means to do so.

That's not going to happen though, or rarely, if they ask an ARR sprout to level to a level 90 patch dungeon in a week. I'm sure this is one of the general ideas behind the event, for improving roulette queues eventually, and I very much like them doing this in theory. But if this is actually supposed to work, you have to ask the Level 85 MSQ person to unlock Eden and the Lvl 60 MSQ person to unlock Saint Mocciane's Arboretum, not the other way around. If the thing the game would like you to play is very obviously out of reach or super far behind what you are interested in, people simply won't bother doing it. So if this is one of their goals, they are actively preventing it from succeeding at the moment.
